Physical Therapy Technician

As a Physical Therapy Technician, you will be providing support, training, and treatment for patients who are recovering from an injury or adapting to trauma or disability.

Designed Program Length: 10 Months

Employment Outlook: The demand for qualified Physical Therapy Technicians is growing. The Bureau of Labor Statistics forecasts that Physical Therapy Technician careers will grow 41 percent from 2012 to 2022, much faster than the average for all occupations.*

Job Summary: The Physical Therapy Technician will work under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist, Physician, Chiropractor, Athletic Trainer or the Rehabilitation Supervisor in a variety of settings.

Our Program: At The College of Health Care Professions students will learn anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, pathology, modality applications that include ultrasound, massage, therapeutic exercises, electrical stimulation, hydrotherapy, and other modality applications.
